At St Benedict’s, or as some have shortened it to, St Ben’s, we believe passionately about the message of Jesus, found in the Book of Matthew Ch 22 v39-40, often referred to as the second of his rules ‘to love and respect everyone.’ With this in mind we strive to be a church that welcomes everybody. Whether you are a regular church-goer or someone seeking to find out more about the Christian faith, we invite you to join us as we learn more about Jesus’s teachings through fellowship, fun and liturgy, so that we can celebrate together the beauty that God shows us. This is reflected in our church mission statement: Our mission is to encourage the people of the parish to worship God in a loving, caring environment and help them to find faith and fulfilment in Jesus. Rev Griff
We have a pewter statue, on a cross, as a focal back-drop to our altar. Unlike many churches, our statue is not of Christ’s crucifixion, but of Christ the Redeemer.
Matthew 18:20 “For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.”
