Groups for Grown-ups
Worship Group
This is one of our key discussion groups that, with the aid of Griff and Rowena, helps guide and direct how we as a church focus and enact our worship at St Ben’s. It gives everyone an opportunity to become involved in defining the act of worship here. We meet as a group 4 times a year.
Bible Studies' Group
We offer many opportunities throughout the year, where we can get together, in a social setting, to explore together, share and deepen our understanding of the scriptures and how these are relevant to all of us today. We usually have a specific focus over about 6 weeks and meet in the evenings, weekly at 7pm at our vicarage. This allows all members of our church to fit these sessions around their work and family commitments.
We also have a Bible Study group that meets on Thursdays, 10.30-11.30 at a group member’s home. Please speak to Rowena, Catherine or Griff for more details. A recent group study was our church’s environmental impact on God’s creation… ‘Tenants of the King: Operation Noah.’
